      I use Genesis and Dynamic Website Builder for most of my sites- Captions show up way below the pictures on Iphones and Androids when I use the responsive slideshow widget. Can anyone point me in the right direction to fix this?

      Thanks

      Jeff

      Do you have a link to troubleshoot with?

      Thanks! Is this the slideshow on the homepage? If not can you direct to exact page? On the homepage all I’m seeing is the image is too wide for the iPhone 5, but it looks good on the iPhone 6.

      the page is nextlevelwpre.com/testing

      On the home page I have 2 slideshows one for mobile one for regular which is a dumb way to do it- I have just the regular responsive slideshow on the testing page which demonstrates the problem

      I think forcing the photos to the same size will help like the main homepage has. Then I believe it’s just a matter of increasing the height of the slideshow caption. I’m not sure how to get to that yet, I never use sliders but I will take a look.

      On the iPhone 6 width the height of 230px seems to work here:

      #IDX-slideshowGallery-11416 a .idx-slideshowPhotoElement {
      width: 100%;
      height: 230px;
      }

      And on the iPhone 5 screen take it down to 195px;

      That fixes the mobile but the full size slideshow becomes distorted. since the height is restricted to 230 or 195

      Wow. I have struggled with this since Platinum came out- I needed to add !important to height to make it work but this will make my life a lot easier.

      Hi Jeff,

      I’m glad now I tossed my suggestion out there, wasn’t sure it would help! I will definitely reach out if I get stuck, I plan to do a lot more IDX integrations.

      Thanks again. We do a lot of real estate sites. I ran real estate offices for 25 years before starting our website business 10 years ago so I have lots of ideas and experience with real estate sites.
