changing the map layer for mapsearch page (and others)

I’d really like to change the map layer for my client’s mapsearch page. I’ve tweaked the clusters and pins via css but the map graphics itself i really want to change and not sure how to do it.

I found this resource that has a ton of other map layer graphics to choose from: https://leaflet-extras.github.io/leaflet-providers/preview/ But in order to use the javascript that it provides i need to know the app_id and the app_code. Is that a thing i can get from IDX Broker? Is this even the right way to go about it?

Has anyone seen any other IDX sites change the map layer?
