Hi IDX guys and gals,
I’m building a wordpress site for a client.
I would like to place the same contact form that is on the “contact” page into a section of the homepage. I’d like to do this instead of a generic contact form, because I want all potential lead contacts to submit directly to IDX Broker instead of just an email to the realtor. to accomplish this, I think I need the script code in addition to just the html so that everything submits properly. I tried pulling the code from the contact page for the form, and while somewhat functional, the success redirect is borked and the code I pulled slows the homepage to a crawl. I’m pretty sure I included A LOT of the code that’s completely unnecessary and that’s what’s causing it to slow down.
Is there any way to get a clean snippet so that I can have that same contact form on the homepage and it submit and redirect properly? Or, is there a way I can include a script with something like Contact Form 7 so that all contact submission goes directly into IDX Broker?
Maybe even a widget?
Thanks!
