Hello,
I’d like to add a feature request for a polygon map widget. This is currently possible using saved links, but it would be nice to be able to embed the same type of map into a WordPress page as a widget.
So basically I’m asking to be able to display a map with a custom polygon displayed, with custom criteria for results showing pins of available properties only within the polygon area…and have this available as a widget to be embedded anywhere on a page.

I agree. I tried to vote this up but it will not let me. I think this is a huge flaw in the Map Search Widget. We should be able to easily add a custom URL string to it so we can create custom Map Widgets. If you can already “Edit by Hand” the search criteria on other widgets (like the Showcase Widget) or add search criteria to the Polygon saved searches, this should be easy to incorporate to the Map Search widget.
