I agree. I tried to vote this up but it will not let me. I think this is a huge flaw in the Map Search Widget. We should be able to easily add a custom URL string to it so we can create custom Map Widgets. If you can already “Edit by Hand” the search criteria on other widgets (like the Showcase Widget) or add search criteria to the Polygon saved searches, this should be easy to incorporate to the Map Search widget.

Ditto. I have an area that I need to have map display of waterfront condos for a page. I was amazed that you can’t do that now 🙁
