Ok there isn’t a sort option in the advanced search form, but, it does work as you described if appending the srt=newest to the query string. I guess that will do for now. A GUI option would still be most helpful for agents. They will never figure out how to create that query string addition manually. Maybe some can, but most would never be able to.
At any rate, thanks so much for this little gem. It does work.

Loading...I am just saying you could eliminate that need all together simply by changing the search query used on the database. No need for a crazy sub-header message and confusing your users. Things need to be simple, simple, simple. Because the truth is, you can instruct users how to do something, but they are most likely not going to read it and then just wonder why no results were returned.

I seriously have like 4 big clients who are about to bail on IDX Broker because the updates are too slow. I keep them holding on hoping that this is going to be available to them soon, but, they are getting SUPER impatient. Basically what I am hearing is 15-30 minute updates is the new standard. If that cannot be achieved, I think they are going to bail.
Also, with those updates, will that bring intraday property email updates as well? Right now it is still just once a day, but, that is not enough for most clients who are in competitive markets. They needs several per day (4-6 cycles) of processing new/change property updates.

With this functionality, we could build better dynamic community pages, pull in listings onto the site using the API and not js, etc.
Can’t we figure out a way to check the referring domain calling for the data? Or, to get access to the raw MLS data, you have to have a verified domain with a license that gets passed in the API call, signed an additional agreement, etc.
I just feel like this is the one piece of the puzzle that is missing for IDX Broker.
