in reply to: Search Bar question #1148
I have an Omni bar product that has some advanced logic to sort out addresses from cities from advanced fields like subdivision or school district. it will accurately search for addresses even if they only enter in part of the address. if you’d like more info about it let me know ren@idxforge.com

If you’d like me to do it up and send you the css i can do it super quick and pretty cheaply, just email me ren@idxforge.com(0 rating, 0 votes, rated)

You need to be a registered member to rate this post.Loading...I have a script that does exactly this which i wrote for a client a few months back. essentially, the way i got around the ajax was to write in a checker that looked for the presence of a different field that would be loaded by the ajax. when it finds this field it then does the dom rewrite. i put it in the page subheader in idx and it works great. I’ll give you a deal, half off my normal price for this script if you just want my version. shoot me an email if so ren@idxforge.com

You need to be a registered member to rate this post.Loading...in reply to: How do they do this? #361Real Geeks looks like they probably are supplying the IDX to that site. They have a custom idx product that the offer, there are no credits on that site for who supplies the idx, plus all the paths to the idx content are relative which means no wrapper, it’s definitely hosted content.

6) on the Home page at the bottom of the page is a ‘pager’ with links to a second page. it loads no additional forums however.

You need to be a registered member to rate this post.Loading...in reply to: How to remove option values in advanced fields? #187There’s a couple ways to do it, one easy with drawbacks, and one less easy. the easy method is with some javascript to rewrite the field and only include the options you want to include, i have a script like that which i just used for a client last week. the drawback is that it will become static and wont change with the active data the way fields do in idx search pages. the other method (i think, this i’m less sure of) would be to pull it all from the api and rebuild the whole search page. this way you can control what options are visible and it retains it’s ability to show new options according to what is currently active in the data.
anyone correct me if i’m wrong.
