    Which template are you using? I don’t even see one with a drop-down, they are all lists in a box, as you mentioned. You might want to have a look in your dashboard area (middleware.idxbroker.com) and go to Designs > Pages > and click Edit under the Advanced Search page to see other layout options.

    You can use the Omnibar search which lets you type in the city (among other things):

    I know its been months, but wondering if you found the solution for this search? If not I was going to offer some suggestions.

    Interesting, sounds like a need for the market. I’ll keep this in mind as I start to think about custom solutions. Ironically the old Quick Search widget has the city dropdown and all that you list except for the garage y/n and year built.

    Curious if you were able to solve this? Is it a setting in your backend, to turn those off?

    Hmm, curious how custom is custom? Are you using one of the widgets to build your search?

    I use Chrome (on a Mac) and it scrolls fine for me. Can you give more details? Is it on the search or results page? Its it on desktop, mobile or both? How exactly does it not scroll?

    Awesome! Can you share how he fixed it? Sorry I didn’t get back with you sooner, I’m at WordCamp US, out of town.

    Hi Lori,

    What type of search were you using on the widget? I noticed some of the searches have sorting as part of the criteria, then you also have sorting as part of the “widget options”. You have to make sure in both areas it has low to high or it seems to favor high to low otherwise. Hope that makes sense. If not, please share you exact criteria used (type of showcase widget) and I can be more specific.

    Hi Lori,

    The entry controlling the spacing is this:

    .IDX-refinementSearchRight div input {
    display:block;
    width:90px
    }

    I would remove or increase that 90px value until it looks how you would like. I would put this change in your widget or custom css area in the idx control panel.

    Yes, I remember having to adjust some CSS on that widget to widen the display of the button. Its not a theme issue, it’s with the IDX css.

    If you share your link I can be more specific.

    Hi Kevin,

    I think the MLS controls what items are included for searching and how they are labeled. For example, the MLS I used to be a part of has pools under Exterior Features and it was “pool on property” yes or no. In the demo data that comes with the IDX Broker account, it appears to be listed under Recreation. In your setup, I would look for it under an Advanced Search area, which you can select when creating a Saved Link or a widget.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi Jeff,

    I’m glad now I tossed my suggestion out there, wasn’t sure it would help! I will definitely reach out if I get stuck, I plan to do a lot more IDX integrations.

    I think forcing the photos to the same size will help like the main homepage has. Then I believe it’s just a matter of increasing the height of the slideshow caption. I’m not sure how to get to that yet, I never use sliders but I will take a look.

    On the iPhone 6 width the height of 230px seems to work here:

    #IDX-slideshowGallery-11416 a .idx-slideshowPhotoElement {
    width: 100%;
    height: 230px;
    }

    And on the iPhone 5 screen take it down to 195px;

    Thanks! Is this the slideshow on the homepage? If not can you direct to exact page? On the homepage all I’m seeing is the image is too wide for the iPhone 5, but it looks good on the iPhone 6.
